Our Provisions are currently available at Farmers Markets, Makers Markets, Festivals, and other locales throughout the Hudson Valley.

Position Overview:

We are in search of a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate to become a valuable part of our team. This role involves traveling to diverse markets each week and spending time at our Hudson, NY headquarters. As a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate, you'll serve as the face of our brand, assist customers, and contribute to the success of our sales at various markets. This position offers part-time seasonal employment and is open for immediate hiring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts and restock products as needed to meet customer demand.
  • Sales: Engage customers, provide product information, and facilitate purchases while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Market Setup/Breakdown: Collaborate in the setup and teardown of market booths, ensuring an attractive and organized product display.
  • Compliance: Read and adhere to market rules and regulations, consistently upholding vendor guidelines for compliance.
  • POS System Proficiency: Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems effectively for processing transactions and maintaining sales records.
  • Setting Up Retail Displays: Create visually appealing retail displays in line with our brand guidelines to enhance product visibility and attract customers.
  • Maintaining Checklists: Utilize checklists to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and consistently, contributing to smooth market operations.
  • Order Communication: Communicate with the team to coordinate orders, ensuring products are replenished in a timely manner to meet customer demand.
  • Positive Attitude: Maintain a positive and friendly attitude, fostering a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for customers.


  • Proven Experience: A track record in event coordination, retail management, hospitality, or a similar role is required, showcasing your ability to effectively manage and coordinate events or retail operations or provide excellent customer experience. 
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills are essential, given the need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The role demands meticulous planning and execution.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital for collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and customers, fostering seamless operations.
  • Proficiency in email, inventory management systems, basic office tools, and POS systems is necessary. Familiarity with relevant technology and software is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: A problem-solving mindset and adaptability to changing circumstances are essential for navigating the dynamic nature of market events.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision and an unwavering commitment to maintaining high standards of product quality and customer service are fundamental.
  • Flexibility: Be prepared to work weekends and evenings, as the role demands availability during these times, especially during market events. Typical schedule may be Saturday & Sunday with hours ranging between 8:30AM-6:00PM weekly. 
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand/sit for extended periods, lift at least 50 pounds, and work both indoors and outdoors as needed.
  • Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license and the capability to manage vehicle logistics for market setup and breakdown are mandatory.
  • Shopify Experience (Bonus): While not mandatory, experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms is advantageous for efficient inventory management. We will train the right person!

November 5 - Westport, CT - Time: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM

November 11th & 12 - Callicoon, NY - Time: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Both Days)

November 22 - Cortlandt, NY - 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

November 24-26 - Hudson, NY- 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Three Days)

December 2  - Rye, NY (Time to be confirmed)

  • December 6-17 - White Plains Holiday Market
  • Time: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Shifts Available - TBD)

Please note that this schedule is subject to change, and flexibility in working hours and locations is essential for this role. Your ability to adapt to different market events and their specific schedules is a key part of your responsibilities as a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate.
